An operator, on retainer.
The ongoing side of the practice. Roughly ten hours a month of strategy and implementation from someone who already knows your business, because we shipped it together. One monthly call, async support in between, and real hands on whatever the business needs that month.

Built for owners who shipped, and need someone in the room after.
You ran a Build with me. The site is live. Now the business is moving and the back office isn't keeping up. You don't need to hire a full-time operator and you don't want a freelancer who needs to be re-briefed every time. You need someone who already knows the read of the business, the positioning, and the systems, showing up every month to keep things moving.
A retainer, not a help desk.
Roughly ten hours a month, allocated against the work that moves the business. The list below is what's in scope. Anything that falls outside is quoted before work starts.
What I cover.
- One 60-minute strategy call per month
- Up to nine hours of implementation per month
- Site edits, content updates, copy revisions
- SEO, metadata, and analytics maintenance
- Operational reads: where the business is leaking, what to fix next
- Async email support, two-business-day response
- Hosting, uptime, SSL, dependency updates included
- Monthly written summary of what shipped and what's next
What I don't.
- Full rebuilds or new top-level pages (quoted as a Build extension)
- Logo or brand identity work
- Photoshoots or original photography
- Paid ad management or media buying
- Bookkeeping, payroll, or licensed financial advice
- Same-day turnaround on non-urgent requests
Three touchpoints a month.
The Operator runs on a predictable monthly rhythm. You always know what's happening this month and what's queued for next.
Sixty minutes. We read the last month's results, set the priorities for this month, and lock the queue. You leave the call with a written list of what's getting done.
I work through the queue. You see updates as they ship. Async email support stays open across the month for anything urgent that comes up.
A short written report: what shipped, what's still open, what I'm watching, and what I'd queue first next month. You have it on file.
$1,800 a month. Three-month minimum.
First and last month deposit on signature: $3,600. Then standard monthly invoicing for the remainder of the engagement. Three-month minimum. Month-to-month after that, with thirty days' notice to end.
- $3,600 due on signature (first month + last month deposit, held against final invoice).
- Three-month minimum from start date. Month-to-month after.
- Thirty days' written notice to end after the minimum.
- Hours don't roll over. If you don't use the ten in a given month, they reset.
- Work beyond ten hours quoted at $200/hour, written estimate before work starts.
- Post-Build only. New engagements start with a Build first.
What you walk away with: someone who already knows your business showing up every month to keep it moving. No re-briefing. No re-hiring. No drift.
The Operator works because the foundation is already in place. Start with The Build if you want a custom site with positioning work, or The Foundation if you need to be online faster. After we ship together, the Operator is the natural follow-on.
You run the business. I show up every month.
Three-month minimum. Post-Build only. If we haven't shipped together yet, start with The Build first.
